Dwell in the Lord, Miyoung Yoon

My name is Miyoung Yoon, and I am a Christian in the Lord, who lives in Iowa City. My husband and I are foreign students. Throughout my college years I had soft heart toward God and a desire to know Him. At that time, however, I was going to a denominational church and had not yet met the Lord personally. But one day the Lord's word came to my heart as light. My pastor shared with us that “We are not sinners because we commit sins, but we commit sins because we were born as sinners.” At that time, I received the grace to be regenerated (1 Peter 1:3).

After I was regenerated, I began to read the Bible, and the Lord gave me a desire to know more of Him. At that time my sweet love story with the Lord began. Through a sister in the local church I became acquainted with the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, and I tasted the church, which is the Lord's heart's desire. I cannot express how much freedom the riches of the truth gave me. Now my family and I love the Lord more and are serving Him. I praise the Lord, and I really thank the Lord for the local church that has richly shepherded me with the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
